This Privacy Policy explains how OmniMeld ("the App"), developed by OmniMeld Games ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Developer Identity and Contact

2. Information We Collect

A) Data stored locally on your device:

• Gameplay progress (discoveries, streaks, scores, star ratings, settings preferences)
• Optional player nickname
• Notification preferences

B) Data sent to our servers when you use online features:

• Player nickname (if provided)
• Game mode, score, steps taken, star rating, timestamps
• Word combinations submitted during gameplay
• Technical metadata required for security and service reliability (IP address, request timestamps)

3. Information We Do Not Collect

• Passwords or authentication credentials
• Payment or financial information
• Precise GPS or device location
• Contact lists, call logs, or SMS data
• Photos, videos, or microphone recordings
• Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking data

4. How We Use Your Information

• To operate core gameplay features (word combining, scoring, daily challenges)
• To provide and maintain leaderboard rankings
• To generate word combinations using AI language models
• To prevent abuse and ensure service integrity
• To improve game quality, balance, and reliability

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party service providers to operate the App:

• DeepInfra — AI inference provider used to generate word combinations. Word pairs submitted during gameplay are sent to DeepInfra's API for processing. DeepInfra's privacy policy is available at deepinfra.com/privacy.
• Hosting infrastructure providers — for server hosting, data storage, and content delivery.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.

6. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process your data based on:

• Contract performance — processing necessary to provide requested game features
• Legitimate interests — security, fraud prevention, service stability, and improvement
• Consent — where required by applicable local law

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data: Remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall the App.

Server-side data: Gameplay records (scores, leaderboard entries) are retained as reasonably necessary for leaderboard integrity, anti-abuse measures, analytics, and operational continuity.

Deletion requests: You may request deletion of your server-side data at any time by contacting dev@omnimeld.space. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

Since the App does not require account creation, there is no account deletion flow. All server-side data associated with your nickname can be removed upon request.

8. Notifications

If enabled, the App may schedule local notifications on your device to remind you about daily challenges. These notifications are generated and managed entirely on your device. You can enable or disable notifications at any time in the App's Settings.

9. Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data may be shared with trusted infrastructure and service providers strictly as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the App.

10. International Data Transfers

Our servers may be located in jurisdictions different from your own. When data is transferred internationally, we apply reasonable safeguards consistent with applicable data protection laws.

11. Children's Privacy

OmniMeld is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us at dev@omnimeld.space and we will take steps to delete such information.

12. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (including under GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable laws), you may have the right to:

• Request access to personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict certain processing activities
• Data portability (receive your data in a structured format)
• Withdraw consent at any time (where processing is consent-based)

13. Security

We implement technical and organizational measures designed to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
